Gabriele Piccinini – Partner of the Firm – magna cum laude graduate in Law at the University of Pavia, with a thesis on the theory and practice of the economics of regulation in the public utilities, afterwards he started to collaborate with Professor Paolo Benazzo, Full Professor of Business and Corporate and Law at the University of Pavia as an assistant teacher of Commercial Law and Stock-Exchanged Companies and Extraordinary Operations Law from 2002 to 2014.
PhD in Law and Economics at the University of Pavia, he conducted research activity in Italy and abroad in the fields of Company Law, Commercial Law, Capital Markets Law and Insolvency Law and he has published several papers in important Italian Law Reviews and Law commentaries.
Lawyer admitted to practice in the Italian Highest Courts, former associate in other law firms even in Milan, he has actively operated in the field of the Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Insolvency Law, Bank and Finance Law. In these areas, he got deeply accustomed to deal with relevant and complicated judiciary and arbitration disputes, to manage relevant extraordinary merger and acquisition operations and to comply with corporate debts reorganization and corporate crisis management through insolvency procedures both for domestic and international clients. Simultaneously, he grew significant experience in out of court counselling and in drafting various commercial and business contracts. He is now focusing on startups and law and technology.
